Yogeswary began her career in the manufacturing industry under the leadership of Japanese management for more than 20 years, heading the Lean Six Sigma team for continuous success in business. She is a multi-skilled professional with superb track record of managing complex functional task in various environment; moved her career path into a 500 fortune company leading the global supply chain with the Telecommunication industry, there she worked under a strong management team from the United States, while directly reporting to the Vice President of the organization located in the United Kingdom.
Her achievement includes managing the overall Global Supply Chain and Lead Operation functions involving comprehensive asset life-cycle maintenance & support of multi- vendor telecom network equipment for regional telecom carriers and OEMs. A certified Project Manager leading million dollar projects in network managing services including Spare Parts Management (SPMS) and Repair/Return (R&R) services, in which she developed 3PL and Reverse Management business opportunities from ground-up by capturing large network modernization programs as a result of customers’ telecom network transition plan from legacy to Next Generation Network (NGN) technologies. She further collaborated with Jabil Circuit After Market Services (AMS) division to promote expanded portfolio of services and coverage to a larger group of high-value markets in the emerging countries in the APAC and the Middle East regions.
She has extensive experience in the key business discipline; Supply Chain/Logistics, Warehousing & Inventory Control Management, Global Operations Lead Management, International Trade Compliance, Project Management, Key Negotiator in Contract/ Procurement, and Enterprise Risk Management. She interfaced directly with Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMC), Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM), and Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to obtain and monitor regulatory and legislative changes. An accountable person for meeting continuous improvement initiatives both from a strategic and tactical perspective including lead time reduction, flexibility to schedules, quality improvement, and inventory cost reduction. Her strong operational background attracted the current conglomerate company, to employ her as a certified Risk Practitioner at UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd to provide advisory services to UMW Group of companies on risk management related matters by conducting research, emerging risk analysis, market trends analysis affecting the Group and benchmarking with industries/ standards best practices. In charge in planning, organizing and facilitate risk assessment, workshops by providing independent assessment on the risk identification, risk action plans and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Provide adequate communication on the ERM policy and ERM methodology as well as the ERM system in order to ensure the effectiveness of ERM implementation within the UMW Group.
Besides holding a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree, Yogeswary is also a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (IERP®), a Certified Risk Associate (C.R.A, EIRM, Denmark), a Certified ABCP (Business Continuity Management), a Certified PRINCE2® Practitioner and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (IASSC).
