Abdul Hakim Razip

Mr. Abdul Hakim Razip is a Director of Consulting Services at Friday Concepts

(International). A certified Enterprise Risk Manager (ERM™) with the IERP®, Hakim

holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Actuarial Science. In addition, he

holds an Insurance certification, a Diploma in Insurance, as well as a Fintech

certification from leading regional and International bodies. With significant

International and regional experience in Financial Services in general and Insurance

in particular, Hakim is a member of a number of leading Insurance Institutes and

actuarial societies.

Hakim is a former Chief Risk Officer in a number of leading International and Regional organisations. His

career experience, spanning almost two decades, encompasses actuarial, finance, insurance, business,

and risk management work, including risk and economic capital modelling, covering economies and

jurisdictions spanning more than twenty countries across the Asia-Pacific and Latin American Regions –

including a number of key emerging markets.

Hakim is a recipient of the Top 10 Award in the QBE Global Recognition Program and devotes time to

mentoring emerging talent from various local and International Universities. He is a frequent speaker and
