Tony Chin FCA

Tony Chin is an experienced Chartered Accountant, Corporate and Investment Banker. He graduated from University of Melbourne and worked at Ernst & Young Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur before joining an international bank, Societe Generale, France at its offices in Melbourne, Singapore and Labuan Financial Offshore Centre in Malaysia. Tony is also a Qualified Risk Director of our Institute.

At aged 40, Tony founded a consultancy practice focussing on Company Turnarounds in general and in particular, Corporate Restructuring and Rehabilitation. Tony has held COO, CFO and CEO positions in companies across a range of industries. He is s also an experienced Independent Non-Executive Director having served on the boards of public companies in Singapore and Malaysia. Tony is the immediate Past Chairman of Sumitomo Mitsui Bank in Malaysia
