Saravanan Desigamanie

Saravanan Desigamanie is the Chief Risk & Sustainability Officer (CRSO) at KPJ Healthcare Berhad, where he leads the integration of enterprise risk management, governance, and sustainability to strengthen organisational resilience and long-term value creation. With over two decades of experience across sustainability, corporate strategy, investor relations, and governance, he specialises in embedding risk-informed decision-making into business strategy.

Previously serving as Head of Group Sustainability at KPJ, Saravanan led the development and execution of the Group’s ESG strategy and decarbonisation roadmap, strengthening sustainability governance, performance measurement, and stakeholder engagement. His experience spans multiple industries, including healthcare, power generation, and plantation, with expertise in ESG integration, risk frameworks, energy transition, and sustainability disclosures.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) in Software Engineering from Multimedia University, Malaysia, and is a Certified Investor Relations professional (CIR®) from the IR Society, United Kingdom.
