Manas Mukherjee

Prof. Manas Mukherjee is an Associate Professor and PI at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), NUS, and the founding Director of Singapore’s National Quantum Federated Foundry (NQFF). He holds a PhD from the University of Heidelberg and completed a Lise-Meitner Fellowship under Prof. Rainer Blatt in Innsbruck, Austria. A former Max-Planck International Research Fellow, his research group focuses on the next generation of trapped-ion quantum computers. Today, he is also the lead Principal Investigator for the National Quantum Processor Initiative, driving the development of Singapore’s own full-stack, trapped-ion-based quantum computer.
