Jack Babani

Jack Babani joined Hong Leong Bank (HLB) in October 2019 as Chief Compliance Officer with close to 20 years of financial industry experience in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, and extensive involvement in the areas of Audit, Risk, Compliance and Financial Crime. He also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Compliance Officers’ Networking Group (CONG) in Malaysia.

Prior to joining HLB, Jack was the Regional Lead for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) for the Singapore and Asia region at Standard Chartered Bank. Jack was also the Vice-Chairman of the Outsourcing Advisory Committee (OAC) under the Association of Banks, Singapore (ABS).

Jack holds an MBA from Arcadia, Pennsylvania, USA and an IIA certificate from the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors UK.
