Dr. Renard Siew

Dr. Renard Siew is the President of the Malaysia Carbon Market Association (MCMA) and Group Head of Corporate Sustainability at Yinson, where he leads initiatives to advance the organisation’s energy transition strategy. He has extensive experience in sustainability, ESG integration, carbon markets, climate action, and sustainable development, having previously contributed to sustainability agendas at leading organisations including Sime Darby, CIMB, and MRCB.

Dr. Siew has also contributed to sustainability research and thought leadership in areas such as greenhouse gas reporting, sustainable finance, and responsible investment. He is a Senior Fellow of the Portulans Institute and Atlantic Institute, a supervisor at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and an Adjunct Professor at Taylor’s University and UNITAR. He has been recognised as an SDG Champion for Climate Action by the World Economic Forum and named among Asia’s influential young leaders.
