Dr. Gary Theseira

Dr. Gary Theseira is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Asia School of Business (ASB) in collaboration with MIT Sloan Management and serves as Chairman of the Climate Governance Malaysia Council at Climate Governance Malaysia (CGM), the Malaysian Chapter of the Climate Governance Initiative (CGI) under the World Economic Forum (WEF). He also serves on the Sustainability Committee of Malaysian Rating Corporation (MARC) Solutions. He is an accomplished communicator on Climate Impacts, Governance Frameworks, Corporate Sustainability, ESG compliance and the SDGs, and facilitates a Global Association of Risk Professionals Certification Course on Climate Risk Management. He currently assists the Joint Committee on Climate Change (JC3) leading the Climate Data Catalogue Review Committee under Bank Negara, and serves on the National Climate Change Advisory Panel and the Selangor State Action Council on Climate Change (IKLIM) as a subject matter expert.
