Dr. David R. Hardoon

Dr. David R. Hardoon is a seasoned Data and AI executive with over 23 years of experience spanning senior leadership, advisory, research, investment, government, academia, and board roles. He currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Advanced AI, Southeast Asia at Accenture, where he leads initiatives to advance AI adoption, innovation, and responsible technology practices.

Previously, Dr. Hardoon served as the first Chief Data Officer of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and later as Special Advisor on Artificial Intelligence, where he shaped Singapore’s national AI strategy for the financial sector and pioneered the development of the FEAT principles for responsible AI. He has also held senior AI leadership roles at Standard Chartered and the Aboitiz Group.

An advocate for ethical and impactful AI applications, Dr. Hardoon also serves on advisory boards focused on AI, technology, and education. He holds a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Southampton.
