Dato’ Amir Firdaus Abdullah

Dato’ Amir brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in Group hospital administration, healthcare operations, and strategic leadership across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Prior to founding Aurelius Healthcare, he served as Group Chief Executive Officer of VPS Healthcare, leading a multinational healthcare network comprising 125 medical centres and 23 hospitals across the Middle East, India, and Europe. Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President of DaVita Kidney Care (Southeast Asia), Group Chief Operating Officer of IHH Healthcare, Regional Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospitals, Director of Parkway Pantai Hospitals, and Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital. In 2019, he established Aurelius Healthcare with a vision to develop a sustainable healthcare platform dedicated to delivering high-quality tertiary care while expanding access to equitable, patient-centred healthcare services across the region. Aurelius Healthcare jointly owned by Navis Capital Partners & Dato Amir and currently owns 10 hospitals in SEA.
