Daniel Atkin

Daniel Atkin is a seasoned risk management leader with over 15 years of experience in strategic, operational, governance, and regulatory risk. As the Group Head of Risk at IDP Education Ltd, an ASX listed company with operations in over 80 countries, he leads the global risk management function, ensuring alignment with and support of the organisation’s objectives. Daniel is recognised for his expertise in cultivating robust risk cultures and aligning risk strategies with organisational goals. He is a Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM) with the Risk Management Institute of Australasia, and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. Daniel’s approach emphasises the importance of moving beyond superficial compliance to foster systemic and contemporary risk cultures.
