Alain Mahieu

Alain is Senior Director, Energy & Sustainability at Singtel Digital InfraCo, where he helps enable the sustainable growth of AI infrastructure across Asia-Pacific. His role sits at the intersection of sustainability, investment and infrastructure development, balancing the resource needs of rapidly expanding digital infrastructure with long-term sustainability, resilience and commercial outcomes. His work spans decarbonisation, resource innovation, power strategy, water stewardship and climate resilience across both new and existing data centres.

Alain also serves on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 2 Technical Working Group, helping shape international guidance on electricity-related emissions. Previously, he held roles at ENGIE and KPMG, advising governments and multinational organisations on energy transition, decarbonisation and sustainable infrastructure
