Ahila Ganesan

Ahila Ganesan, a professional architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia, has 20+ years of experience in the built environment. As a consultant architect she was involved in award winning Malaysian and international projects. In 2012, she transitioned into property development, leading regional offices for prominent firms like Sunway Property and Mah Sing Property.

Subsequently, Ahila assumed the role of Senior Director at Think City, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, focusing on sustainable urbanism and urban resilience. Currently, she serves as a Senior Advisor, leveraging her expertise to advance Think City’s initiatives.

Ahila is a Certified Sustainability Professional and a regular speaker at national and international forums. She is the Founder of Future LinQ, an ESG focused consultancy. She also serves as a Special Advisor to ESG Foundation, a global entity located in London.

Currently, she serves on the board of Velesto Energy Berhad and previously served on UM Holdings’ board, the investment arm of Universiti Malaya. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Ahila was honoured with the Prestige award for being among the Top 100 Women of Power in Malaysia in 2022.
