Abdul Hakim Razip

Encik Abdul Hakim Razip possesses broad experience in both the insurance and takaful industries, spanning life and non-life practices across the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions. Throughout his career, he has held a diverse range of roles at local, regional, and group levels, including serving as Chief Risk Officer in several financial institutions. His experiences encompass Actuarial, Risk Management, Portfolio Analytics, Pricing, Reserving as well as Economic Capital Modelling under European Solvency 2 requirement.

Beyond his corporate contributions, he has played an active role in industry-wide initiatives, having served under the Finance & Enterprise Risk Management Committee (FERMC) of Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM). He has been recently appointed as a member of the PIAM ERM Committee (ERMC), where he continues to contribute towards strengthening risk governance, risk management practices and resilience within the industry.
