Eong is an accomplished technology leader and Co-Founder of Pantas, a leading climate technology solution provider. As the Chief Technology Officer, he drives the company’s technology vision, setting a solid foundation for its innovative solutions.
Under Eong’s stewardship, Pantas has successfully architected and built a robust enterprise climate solutions from the ground up. The solution has gained recognition for tackling the challenges in gathering and tracking carbon emissions, setting new standards as a platform for companies to measure, manage and decarbonize.
Additionally, Eong spearheaded the development of the platform for Greening Value Chain (GVC) program. The tool is invaluable and game-changing for SMEs as it simplifies the process for SMEs to get started in their journey on calculating and tracking carbon emissions.
Before co-founding Pantas, Eong has 14 years of experience in software engineering at Bloomberg’s headquarters in New York and the London office. During his tenure, he played a key role in the development of the Bloomberg Tradebook trading platform, showcasing his proficiency in creating cutting-edge financial technology solutions.
Eong led a team of engineers to integrate machine-learning into Bloomberg’s Regulatory Reporting enterprise product. He championed the effort to apply machine learning early on to provide valuable insights and anomaly detection into clients’ regulatory reporting. His efforts transformed the product and the industry.
