Emilee Yew is the Chief Investment Officer of AIA Bhd. since 2015. Emilee has overall responsibility for developing asset allocation strategies and investment policies as well as ensuring a robust risk management process for assets under management in Malaysia worth RM48.2billion. She has close to 20 years of experience in investment management that includes time spent in Khazanah Nasional Berhad’s insurance companies between 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, she was Head of Investment Strategy in AIA Bhd. And responsible for over seeing a widearray of asset classes, namely real estate investment, corporate credits, derivatives and alternative investments, in addition to the asset liability management of the Company.
Allan Sum is currently the Chief Risk Officer for Bintai Kinden Corporation Berhad (BKCB). In 2014, he has been tasked by the Board to initiate and spearhead a 5-year Strategic Transformation Program, including establishing and institutionalize risk management across all levels. He is responsible for developing, implementing and establishing the strategy planning and enterprise risk management function.
Mohd Redzuan Devan Abdullah was K & N Kenanga Holding Berhad’s former Group Chief Operating Officer responsible for the development of Kenanga’s 5-year transformation program, information technology as well as equity broking operations. Redzuan was also a member of various committees in Kenanga including Group Information Technology Steering Committee, Transformation Project Steering Committee, Group Operational Risk Committee and Group Exco.
Kenanga is a public listed company with core business in investment banking and branches throughout Malaysia totalling a staff strength of over 800. Kenanga is currently ranked third in traded volume for YTD June 2015 representing Bursa’s 13.8% market volume.
Allan Lee is the Director of Consulting Services at Friday Concepts (International) as well as being a BCM faculty member at the Institute of Enterprise Risk Practitioners. An electronics and electrical engineer by qualification, Allan began his career with Motorola in Illinois with their R&D team before moving into supply chain. He then moved to Dell in Texas as their supply chain director. Allan spent more than 19 years working with Fortune 500 multinational organizations before returning to Asia. His business and consulting experience encompasses Business Continuity Management, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management and Risk Management. In 2010, he was also invited as a key content contributor in the National Key Economic Area (NKEA) Transformation Program developing the New Economic Model (2010) sponsored by the Prime Minister’s Department.
Mohamed Rithuan bin Dato’ Mohamed Shamsudin is head of Islamic Finance and Islamic Enterprise Risk Management at IERP®. He is also Director of Islamic Finance at Friday Concepts. Rithuan has over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry (including 18 years specialising in Islamic banking). He started his banking career with an established Merchant Bank in Malaysia and went on to become its Head of Islamic Banking.
Rithuan’s experience encompassed crafting the Policy and Procedures Manuals for the Islamic Banking Unit operations which included the Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Market, Treasury, Treasury Operations and Finance Departments’ operations. Rithuan also developed and marketed the Islamic Banking products for the Bank.
